What makes each of us unique...
Rob
If you're local to the mighty Clarence Valley, you may recognize Rob from many varied adventures in life. Rob has been an Irish dance teacher, he's currently the bass drummer in the Grafton District Services Club Pipe Band, coach and player of football (soccer) and hockey for many years, a cricket player, a local futsal coach and referee, a golf player, although not too well... and lawn bowls, not so well also.
Rob worked many years for the Salvation Army in financial capability and welfare, involved in youth groups, kids clubs and mini muso's too. You will often see him selling raffles tickets for one of the many organisations he's involved in or at charity nights of many different kinds. Rob is a fun loving, easy to get along with bloke who is always up for a laugh. Rob has lots of experience, is a quick learner and isn't afraid to get his hands dirty.

Management says;
"We are so grateful to have had Rob start the business for all the right reasons, and since February 2021, 'Rob Cares and Supports' has just bloomed and we are so honoured we got to not only be fortunate enough to watch it grow, but we are so grateful we got to be a part of Rob's vision and assist him to bring it to life. We are so proud of how far Rob and his team have come, and we are always excited to see where the future takes us as a business."
Sonja
Sonja is the General Manager here at Rob Cares and Supports. Lucky for Sonja she gets to be involved in a little of everything; rosters, invoicing and keeping our energetic crew under control. Sonja has an in-depth and diverse knowledge, and many years of experience that have prepared her for this role. Some of this includes:
>20 years' experience as a primary school teacher
>15 years' experience in the disability field as a support worker, a caseworker for people with Mental Health conditions, and also as a Local Area Coordinator (LAC), working to help people get their NDIS plans.
Sonja completed her Bachelor of Social Work (with Honours) in 2017, and has experience working as a Social Worker with NSW Health. Sonja is also an experienced and extremely sought after Support Coordinator and we are grateful to have her on board to share her knowledge, teach/encourage our team and also support us all in every aspect of our roles.
She is passionate about respecting the uniqueness of every individual and providing opportunities for our NDIS participants to participate in activities that they choose and they enjoy. She especially likes making a difference in people's lives and building their confidence and skills.
Sonja thinks we, at Rob Cares and Supports, does this successfully by providing a service that genuinely cares about the NDIS participants and families that we support.

Management says;
"Sonja is AWESOME. Without Sonja there would be no "Rob Cares and Supports"... If we have a question about the NDIS she is our go-to lady, and boy does she know a lot! We owe it all to her. Sonja is the reason why we reach our participants' goals and Sonja helps us discover new goals along the way, continuing to push our employees to be the best version of themselves and striving to constantly keep improving. Sonja is the backbone of the business and the reason why we are growing continually."
Caitlin
Caitlin, also known as Rob's daughter, is a young wife, and an amazing mother to two beautiful girls. Caitlin has a passion for the NDIS, it's participants, and since starting with Rob Cares and Supports has stepped up into the role of Office Manager and is thriving.
Caitlin enjoys everything musical; from dancing and singing, to playing a variety of musical instruments. Caitlin has 9 years experience as a dance teacher, currently working at Studio One Dance Academy, in Grafton. Caitlin also enjoys playing hockey, soccer and tennis when she has the time. She has been a part of our Clarence Valley community almost since birth, heavily involved in volunteering, sporting groups/clubs, the GDSC Pipe Band, public performances, fundraising, local churches, school events, as well as being crowned the Jacaranda Princess in 2018. Caitlin is often referred to as "the real boss", as she is often found taking on many roles in the office, such as: payroll, rostering, training, invoicing, communicating with participants, emailing and if you ever call our business number, she will answer the phone. Caitlin works long hours and is highly dedicated to making a positive impact in participants lives, as well as the wider community. Caitlin is often in charge of all things technological, and we appreciate all of the hard work and dedication she puts into the role. When Rob and Sonja are away, Caitlin steps up and goes above and beyond without hesitation. Caitlin has recently just started learning and growing her knowledge in support coordination, and with Sonja's guidance, we know she is going to continue to excel in this industry.
Caitlin says: "I thoroughly enjoy being alongside participants, watching them grow their independence and experiencing the joy they feel when they try something new or achieve one of their goals. I am extremely grateful for the opportunities that Dad and Sonja have given me over my time at Rob Cares and Supports, and I am extremely excited for what the team has in store for the future. It can be phenomenal to know that the small impact we make can be the biggest positive in someone else's day. I am so proud of all our participants, thankful for our amazing team and humbled that our business get's the opportunity to watch and assist our community to grow. Keep your eyes and ears open, Rob Cares and Supports are here to stay!"

Management says;
"We are proud of the way she has developed into a young lady. She always seems to get the best out of our participants and their situations, and she's always eager to develop her skills, help people and support her team. Over the past 18 months, Caitlin has bloomed in the industry and her role, and she continues to tackle anything we throw at her and more, with a smile. Constantly finding ways to gain more knowledge and understanding of the business and the NDIS, we are so pleased to watch Caitlin continue to grow, and I look forward to challenging her further and seeing what other positives Caitlin brings to the business. Thank you for being such a vital part of the team, Caitlin."
